Chapelle-lez-Herlaimont video management system by Tein Technology
Efficiency in the fight against petty crime
Two years ago, Tein Technology was selected to implement an extensive camera network and video management system in Chapelle-lez-Herlaimont (Wallonia). After the town decided to step up the fight against petty crime in the municipality, they began the search for a partner that could develop, install and implement a made-to-measure camera security network.
A smart combination of cameras
Tein Technology installed a comprehensive network of fixed cameras, an ANPR camera and a movable camera, monitoring key locations. High-risk areas such as the city hall, the local sports centre and shopping sites are now monitored by state-of-the-art camera systems connected to a central server where all footage is recorded for analytical purposes.
A persuasive proof of concept
The city council was convinced by the technical solutions and proof of concept that the Tein Technology team pitched. After the team won the project, everything was executed according to plan and has been working to the full satisfaction of all parties involved.
The project may seem like a straightforward video management system implementation. However, there were several technical difficulties that needed to be overcome. Tein Technology had to work hard to get the right permit for the installation of certain equipment and went out of its way to negotiate with all parties involved to bring this project to a successful close.
In the years to come, Tein Technology will handle the full maintenance of the system.
