Key Account Manager

Tein Technology is currently mainly known and active in the public markets, with innovative, tailor-made solutions for operators working in mission critical environments.

In order to develop our position and transpose our solutions to the private market, we are actively looking for a young sales talent to join our team with a minimum of existing knowledge and contacts in the industry market. 

Private market players are geographically located in Flanders, and to a lesser extent in Wallonia. 

In parallel with this development of the private market, a portfolio of existing customers in Wallonia also needs to be monitored and developed (SPW, PAC, etc.).

Key Account Manager

Here‘s what you’ll be up to

You will oversee sales, promotion and relationship management activities with regards to customers and new prospects in this area, to:  

  • Identify the customer’s short and medium-term requirements for voice-data-video network solutions 
  • Detect new opportunities in existing as well as in new markets/customers/solutions 
  • Maintain excellent relationships with the Key Accounts mid- and higher-level managements 

The following commercial responsibilities will also be entrusted to you: 

  • Define and put into place an account plan to promote and best position the solutions offered by Tein Technology 
  • In collaboration with the General Manager, define the winning strategy for each offer (partnerships, price strategies …) 
  • Develop a relationship of trust with the customers (internal and external), prospects and partners with whom you will be led to collaborate 
  • Pilot the entire internal proposition process 
  • Put together a motivated team of experts in order to draw up the winning offer 
  • Negotiate the contracts together with the Risk & Contract Advisor, and ensure the commercial follow-up of offers 
  • Follow market evolution and identify key markets in which Tein Technology should position itself 
  • Propose specific Marketing-related actions for each customer/prospect 


The Key Account Manager will be supported in his endeavors by Tein Technology’s highly skilled  

Resources, and will report to the General Manager/Sales Director. 

Recognize this skill set?

  1. Sales driven (hunting as well as farming), entrepreneur, negotiations skills, proven sales experience 
  2. Knowledge and understanding of the sector is a plus (integrated network-based Voice, Data and Video solutions) 
  3. Excellent client relationship skills 
  4. Large network in the private sector 
  5. Dutch and/or French (mother tongue) and a decent knowledge of English 
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, team player, positive minded

You’re the perfect fit

Education, knowledge & work experience

  • Civil/Industrial Engineer or equivalent by experience  
  • with an experience of min. 3 years in a sales position 


  • Commercial Engineer  
  • with an experience of min. 3 years in a sales position of integrated solutions, in the ICT network industry
