Expanding the camera network for PolBruno Police Department
Additional cameras providing smart eyes in the field
Tein Technology expands the camera network of the PolBruno Police Department in Brussels.
In the past ten years, Tein Technology installed a camera network comprising over 150 cameras. Today, we expand this smart network with 24 new additional cameras, spread out over the three municipalities. At the same time, we’ll expand the central data storage facility and perfect the system’s visualization capabilities.
The PolBruno Police Department stretches out from Saint-Josse-ten-Noode over Schaarbeek to Evere, in the north of Brussels.
The department has been a trusted client for the past 10 years, when we installed a fully operational camera network comprising over 150 cameras in the field, with a smart combination of fiber and wireless connectivity.
Over time, we have executed significant upgrades in a piece-meal manner. Today, the joint-venture Tein Technology – Cegelec has been awarded a contract to install 24 additional cameras spread out over the three municipalities, expand the central data storage facility and perfect the visualization capabilities of the system.
Equipping HQ’s with state-of-the-art cameras
In the second phase of the project, we’ll be adding new cameras inside and on the façade of the police department’s various police headquarters to replace the outdated ones currently installed.
Joint venture: opportunities for our clients
The entire project should be finalized by September. Another perfect example of how our experience in joint ventures can enhance beneficial collaborations with other players in the industry, providing our clients with the best possible solution to any challenge.
